Explaining the characteristics of lateral shower age of cosmic ray extensive air showers

چکیده

A simple analytical argument is proposed for a possible explanation of the characteristics lateral shower age (s) proton (p)/nuclei-initiated showers. The states that density distribution (LDD) electrons p-initiated due to superposition several electromagnetic (EM) sub-showers developed at very early stage in atmosphere from decay neutral pions ( $$\pi ^{0}$$ s). Thanks property electron LDD p shower, plausible parametrisation has been worked out by giving well represented function LDDs p- and -initiated Based on cosmic ray extensive air simulations, we have validated how various s can be understood context argument. parameter its correlations with ages electron- showers support idea result EM initiated varied energies might produce shower. It also noticed simulated data present conjecture works relating notion local parameter.
